We started years ago building custom truck bodies and racks, mostly for the construction trade. Then we kind of changed directions and wound up remanufacturing automotive and industrial engines and performing general machine work. After taking many twists and turns we decided to get back to basics, back to the iron where we could actually create something. We wanted to keep it simple so we would be able to produce a quality product and still have time to enjoy family and friends, and maybe even play some. So for the last few years we fabricated truck accessories for the state of “California”. Well that was good for a while, but lately with budget problems and cut backs it has been neither fun nor profitable.

We went looking for a way to change. You know spice things a bit. What we found is as close to magic as I have ever seen in machinery. While the technology isn’t brand new (it’s been around a few years, mostly in heavy industrial applications) the packaging of it is state of the art.

So we are in. We are putting together the package and arranging the shop. What this equipment will do is enable us to create intricate items with very little set up time. That means making only one or just a few pieces is now affordable. Also it gives us the ability to make thousands of parts exactly identical.
